Most of you know by now that I am a fan of simple folk based healing…figure if it has been repeated often enough there has to be something to it (What there is to it is evidence that the godless communist scientist elitists haven’t really figured it out yet!), in order for anyone to bither to pass it on. If you have a home remedy which does not involve drugs, not requiring a prescription or violating any state federal or local laws, and does not include alchohol, would you consider posting it!!! just submit via comment or post. We might get healthy! Meantime, I keep searching for interesting ideas about home remedy and posting them up…Check out the side bar!
Tai Chi & Qigong have been shown to help in the remdiation of Diabetes, Type I and Type II. I Have added a feed that brings new articles about the management of blood sugar as soon as they are published. Check the side bar for the article titles. Hoping that the inspiration comes and guides you to higher levels of g0od health, happiness, and prosperity!
Last Fall I passed on some information about the plants (weeds) you could gather in your back yard to help relieve the pain of arthritis… (Click here to reprise the article) what if you knew which foods caused the pain? They grow in your back yard!
After a computer virus crashing my computer, and jousting with windows vista (vista LOST), then jumping into World Tai Chi Day, six months has gone by since the last newsletter, and I’ve learned a great deal about life, qigong, computers and the internet! My primary reason for sending the letter was to keep everyone up to date in one place…it is very hard to synchronize my thoughts about the different classes and groups of people, so this blogging format is going to become very handy…i can “jot” notes as issues come up, and then publish the notes in this lovely wrapper. You can provide feed back and commnets even more simply than using email by posting a comment-(I do get to review them…edit them before they go live, so we should have too many wizegyz). Here’s hoping I can be more punctual!
<>As you know, I’ve been working with a digital information system for minimizing digital file size (conservation! How Green!) and use absolutely no paper in providing qigong instruction-including desk top video. These files download to your computer, and contain everything you need to be able to use them. Here’s a link to “Your” FREE E-Book About Qigong…you can learn a little about qigong, and a little about the ebook: no paper! and It’s FREE . Click Here
<>You should review the schedule changes…we’ll try to keep up with you in classes, but this place is also going to be a good start. There will be no Monday evening classes for a while, until further notice I guess you would say, and there will be no clases at all for the entire week beginning on AUG 25th…the whole following week until Sunday the 2nd of September…enjoy your vacations!

<>Enjoy the great summer we’re having, have some fun, careful with the heat…see you in class!

We had a good time again this year, much less hurried and busy, but more time to spend with friends! 20 schools/teachers showed up, and we had a nice demo from our friends over at Bushidokai, with fine demos by some very fine players! I’m going to try to have the video clip play through this blog, but I’ve never done that (yet)

Although the date/topic/location scheme has not been worked out yet, I have an excellent curriculum put together for training teacher assistants. The work will include detailed training in the theories behind qigong and tai chi, as well as practical work, including learning a specific series of qigong forms routines (with test). The program will begin in January and run for 24 months.
At the conclusion of the teacher assistant training (24 months), candidates may qualify as “Qigong Instructor”, with certification by a national association, headed by an internationally recognized Master and expert.
After the first12 months of apprentiship, (including teaching classes with ongoing support and supervision) candidate will be certified as Starfarm Tai Chi and Chi Qong Search Center Teacher/ Assistant. Limited to 5 people, all ages.
