September 2007 Newsletter

Greetings Friends!

Welcome back from the summer’s last frenzy…hope you got it all done.

There have been some changes to my weekly class schedule which I hope will allow those of you who wanted to get another weekly practice in, and there are scheduled to be more additions to it, but I’ll wait until they are confirmed before posting. Just in case, and for the sake of information, one of the new sessions is actually a re-opening.

In the past, I have conducted classes in schools, after the students have been dismissed, in order to give the teachers a little stress break before continuing with after school tasks (yes they sometimes do work after the kids are gone!). If you are a teacher, or an administrator in school, this is a wonderful, inexpensive way to recharge the teachers…contact me for details.

I hope you enjoy the blog format for the newsletter, I get to change its colors and some arrangement of the layout for fun, and the best part is you get to submit comments directly to the blog, while you are reading it. Here’s a helpful hint: move your mouse/curser over what ever text you are reading, you’ll be rewarded with even more detail! Your comment can be left annonymous or posted for others to comment on. I know sometimes people feel silly asking a question in class, or sometimes things are said that need follow-up. Unfortunately, I am usually off to something else, and don’t get to research the answer. Blogging lets you ask, and me answer. You’d really be surprised at how many times the question was in the minds of others as well, and well, the way to learn is repetition anyhow. Scroll down and look where it says leave a comment…try it out and say hello! I will be weening off email

( more change!) and using this blog format to answer your questions…by December I will not be responding to email any more…use this blog to correspond with me, remember that the initial comment you make is annonymous: the reply may be made public if the information is useful to everyone and you agree to it..

There is a season change coming, just around the corner really on the 21st. The Autumn Equinox is less than three weeks away. Time to rebalance your energy and get a booster for Autumn/Lungs (Metal) Energy. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, this exercise is done in order to prepare the body for the change in seasons, each season presenting its own set of health challenges. Autumn can bring dry windy and damp windy conditions which affects the lungs. The emotion associated with the lungs is grief; ever experience seasonal sadness in autumn? A simple visualization/relaxation technology really…and a bonus learning/accomplishing for those who attend the

Wei Qigong Healing with Human Energy Workshop on the 20th (thursday) of September, or the 22nd (saturday). The Workshop will be followed by an introduction to Reiki in the afternoon, and the special pricing offers from last month are repeated. If you have completed the training previously, this AM workshop is open to you for free, as a share. Check out the page “Healing with Human Energy at the sidebar.

About the Qi Walking Training Sessions..check out th details..just put you mouse over the link above, then click the page that jumps up!

You may remember I mentioned back in early July that I had met the woman who would be responsible for organizing the Dali Lama’s visit to the US next year. She has provided initial information about the schedule and cost to be with the DL for a training from the most important text of Tsong Kha Pa (search the net!) July 10-15 Stabler Arena Lehigh University. Visit WWW.DalaiLamaJuly2008.com
here’s an interesting peronality test…allegedly from the Dali Lama, no way to verify, but interesting. Takes a few minutes, but the results were…interesting! Test
